Kukkura Jataka(Final Justice)

                                                                                  

When the Brahamdatta was ruling in Benares Lord Buddha, Boddhisatta took birth as a dog due to his past acts. He used to  live as head of several hundred dogs. 

Buddha Jataka story goes further. Now  one day, the king set out for his pleasurance in his chariot.in his chariot.and returned amusing him self.It rained in night and harness of chariot wet. Due to the dogs of royal palace came down and gnawed the leather work and straps.When the king know about this he ordered to kill the all dogs of his reign. Among several hundred dogs assemble together and told about this to Boddhisatta.

Boddisatta ,Lord Buddha Jataka came to the king and told weather he who has ordered to kill the dogs and what was the reason of that.King replied to Lord Buddha Jataka that those dogs has gnawed the leather work and straps of his chariot's harness.

Boddhisatta, Lord Buddha Jataka asked all the doges are ordered or some of them are spared. King replied that royal dog are spared. Lord Buddha Jataka told that this not a work of king like.There are only poor dogs are killed and other are spared. 

Then he called upon all the dogs. They gave them all to eat Kusa-grass with butter milk. After some time later royal dogs vomit all the leather they had eaten.Justice was finalised .King felt ashamed.He returned his order .Lord Buddha Jataka lived a long life doing charity.
