Lord Buddha Jataka Story

 Once Lord Buddha came to a life of Piparu (Peepal Tree) as the Tree-sprite which stood near a lotus- pond.The pond was full of fishes and in summer season water was a little .There a crane saw the fishes and started to think about eating to all of them. He said to fishes  about another pond which was full of water.Fishes convinced to his tricks .He took the one fish and flew to the pond and ate the fish throwing her bones at the foot of tree.

   He again returned to the first pond and said about happiness of the fish .Again he picked another one and did the same same fate as he had done to first one.One by one he ate the all fishes and due to their folly all fishes came to their end.
    Killing the all fishes crane saw a crab to eat .But the Bodhisatta a Tree sprite, Lord Buddha Jataka gave some hint abut be careful to crab.Crane due to his hunger and wickedness said crab to go another pond with him.But the crab was now alert and convinced crane to catch his neck with his claws.When crane was flying over the place where he killed the fishes started to coming down and crab saw the bones of fishes .He understood all matter and threatened the crane to cut his neck.Crane felt fear and agreed to return first pond.After returning his home place crab did not took a chance and cut he neck with his sharp claws.Thus due to his smartness and assistance of the Bodhisatta his life was safe and full of happiness.The Bodhisatta  Piparu lived a long time helping and saving life of others .
